Apps for everyone! TD expands mobile offering with BlackBerry and Android apps
Toronto, June 9, 2010 – Canadians looking for a mobile app, regardless of their choice of smartphones, should look no further. TD today announced it has launched a free TD mobile app for BlackBerry and Android devices. The new apps make TD the first financial services provider in
Canada with mobile apps for the most in-demand smartphones available on the market.

The TD mobile app for BlackBerry and Android offers:

A North American TD Locator to help find TD branches and ATMs in both Canada and the U.S. – where customers can access their TD accounts without incurring any ATM fees at more than 5,000 TD ATMs on both sides of the border;

TD Canada Trust EasyWeb Internet banking for personal and Small Business Banking accounts. Customers can log in and view a consolidated portfolio of their accounts at TD, pay bills, view account histories and transfer money between accounts;

Easy connection to TD Waterhouse Investment Representatives for users to apply to open an account and for existing TD Waterhouse Discount Brokerage clients to speak to a representative to obtain market quotes and place trades in English, French, Cantonese or Mandarin;

The ability to connect to a TD Insurance specialist for instant quotes on Home, Auto, Life and Health insurance or to seek advice on how to file claims. The app also includes an Accident Toolkit and a Notepad to record details in the event of an auto accident.

Today’s launch builds on the existing TD mobile app line-up for iPhone and iPod touch, which made its debut in April 2010 and was downloaded 100,000 times within the first 10 days of its arrival. All TD mobile apps use 128-bit encryption to protect the confidentiality and integrity of personal account information and transactions. In addition, TD customers are protected by the Online Security Guarantee which provides 100 per cent reimbursement to customers in the unlikely event they experience a loss from an EasyWeb or WebBroker transaction they did not authorize.
